Our models are designed and manufactured mainly from NATURAL FIBERS: Cotton, Viscose, Wool; and when they require Polyester, it's recycled Polyester. We give priority to choosing materials from dormant stocks, i.e. materials produced in surplus by weavers or not used by the principals who ordered them.

The factories we have chosen to work with are OEKO-TEX-certified factories, which, like us, are committed to a responsible approach.

An OEKO-TEX Standard 100-certified fabric means that it has been inspected at every stage of processing (raw materials, yarns, dyeing). It therefore contains no chemicals harmful to health.

We manufacture in our Paris workshops to support the French textile industry and help reduce our carbon footprint.

We have a social responsibility, and we have chosen to work with local artisans in order to perpetuate the know-how of the men and women with expert hands who make our collections every day.

The carbon footprint is at the heart of our concerns, so importing was not an option, and even less an obligation.

It is with great pride that since the end of 2019 we have taken up the challenge of manufacturing 100% of our collections in France.

Since December 2019, we have succeeded in setting up a new manufacturing unit in the Hauts de Seine that makes all our knitwear, so we can now claim to be 100% made in France.

As for our jewelry, it has always been made in France by jewelry designers who are committed to working with natural stones with beneficial properties.

Our shoes are made in the Paris region by an artisan shoemaker, with whom we select vegetable-dyed skins.

As for our prints, we select them from a weaver in the Lyon region, who works with Oeko-Tex certification.

Once your order has been registered, your products pass through the expert hands of a cutter, model mechanic, seamstress and quality controller, before being folded and packed in our recyclable shipping boxes.

It's because we were keen to reduce waste that our collections are capsules of 25 models, with production launched as and when you buy.

Our workshop manufactures limited quantities, so that we can produce only what you want, and make sure that you wear a model produced in such limited numbers that you won't come across it on any of your friends invited to the same party, wedding or simply to the office.

Parisienne et Alors is a committed brand, which is why we have decided to donate part of our profits to associations in line with our values:

Ethical and responsible fashion is also fashion that is committed to its values.

After supporting No More Plastic, WWF, Keep a Breast and the Fondation de France, Parisienne et alors is once again committed to Reforest Action, which works to preserve, restore and create forests in France and around the world.

In concrete terms, for each of your orders, we pledge to replant a tree in a French forest, because we too are convinced that forests are the best solution for the climate and biodiversity.
